Cambodia deluge and displacement
Cambodia is experiencing severe flooding as a result of heavy rainfall caused by typhoons and other severe weather systems. With the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers overflowing, 16 of 20 provinces have been affected and some 119,000 people have been displaced by the flooding – including extremely poor families, many of whom are landless migrant workers.
