Please join us in prayer with refugees and members of faith communities:
for the safety of refugees fleeing from persecution around the world;
for refugees in camps, detention and those awaiting protection decisions;
for refugees separated from their families;
to give thanks for the new hope given to refugees settled here in our country;
and to express our gratitude for the contribution made by refugees to our country.

God bless our eyes, that we may recognize injustice or neglect.
God bless our ears, that we may hear the cry of the persecuted.
God bless our mouths, that we may speak words of welcome to newcomers.
God bless our shoulders, that we may bear the weight of providing protection and rebuilding lives.
God bless our hands, that we may work together with all people to establish just and lasting peace.
God bless our hearts, that we may be transformed into witnesses of truth, justice, and love.
